Ari Banias lives in Brooklyn, NY and teaches creative writing to undergraduates at Hunter, where he is also getting his MFA in poetry. His family hails from Greece, but he grew up in California, Texas, and in the Midwest. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Arts & Letters, Columbia Poetry Review, and in Orpheus and The Odyssey, both part of the Pocket Myths series.


Ana Bozicevic-Bowling is a Croatian poet living in Brooklyn and writing in English. Her poems and translations can be found in 6x6, The Cortland Review, LIT, The New York Quarterly, Redivider, Three Candles and other journals. Her chapbook Morning News is available from Kitchen Press. She works at PEN American Center, studies at Hunter, co-edits RealPoetik (an online poetry magazine) & clings to sanity.

Danica Colic is a native New Yorker who lives in Brooklyn and studies at Hunter College.

Caroline Conway is a native New Yorker who has tried to live elsewhere to no avail. She hopes to complete her MFA in Spring 2007. Recent poems have appeared in Normal College Review, luzmag, and in RealPoetik, which she also co-edits.

Alana Joblin is a poet living in Brooklyn. Sparked by her interest in varied vehicles for narrative, she studied English, Religion and Film at Oberlin College. Prior to moving to New York five years ago, she spent a year writing in the Israel desert as a resident of the Arad Arts project, and published poems in their journal, Views from the Seventh Floor. She is completing her MFA at Hunter College in Manhattan, where she also teaches introductory creative writing to undergraduates.
